This class will be taught in English and French : Draw and Paint with Fabrics by Sophie Furbeyre
Create an easy and beautiful art quilt, learn how to make subtle hues of black and grey in textile art. We will be working with Lutradur, Tyvek, Organza and structured Japanese paper. Learn how to create a variety of structured fabfics. Draw with your sewing machine and paint with fabrics to produce a quilt-like fine art painting. Techniques used are those in works in my previous solo exhibition at FoQ. A supply list is provided plus additional materials will be provided by the tutor (Black Lutradur and Japanese paper for £6, to be collected on the day. Suitable for any level.
